About the Founder
Janelle Persaud
Janelle Persaud is a Public Affairs professional with more than 20 years of experience.
She grew up in the Rupununi savannahs and moved to Georgetown to explore higher education and career prospects; working her way into the Ministry of Foreign Affairs after securing a BSc in International Relations at the University of Guyana.
After moving on to ExxonMobil Guyana to learn more about the new industry, in less than three years she earned an early promotion to her latest role through a dedicated work ethic. Janelle is a realist who values efficiency and innovation; both of which are strengths in her own armory.
She is not afraid to push boundaries and is result focused – driven by strong ambition and disbelieving of limits. Straight-talking and hard-working Janelle recognises the opportunity that the oil and gas industry offers Guyana and is excited about the possibilities and benefits that can be derived.
